The Greater Accra Regional Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has taken a swipe at Ningo-Prampram Member of Parliament, Samuel George Nettey describing him as a “toddler”.

Anthony Nukpenu posited that, he won’t waste his time on someone who has refused to ‘grow up’ in spite of the political grooming.

“I groom up people to be responsible and matured in thinking. “I don’t play with toddlers” he stressed.

Anthony Nukpenu reaction comes following Sam George’s description of Greater Accra Regional executives of the NDC as useless and the worst in the history of the party.

He blamed the considerable election loss in the region on the laziness of the executives.

The Ningo-Prampram MP is reported to have made the damaging comments during a healing tour meeting led by Sylvester Mensah and other elders of the party in that constituency.

A livid Sam George further accused the “hungry stomach” regional executives of aiding other potential candidates to embark on campaigns in the various constituencies in Accra.

But on Adom FM’s morning show Friday, Anthony Nukpenu said he does not have time for political neophytes.

“I’m a serious politician. I’m a young man but I’m getting serious in politics so when people want to be toddlers and be playing to the gallery let them be there” he fumed.
