The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially announced the schedule for the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season, outlining a clear roadmap for the upcoming campaign.
According to the Association, the new season will begin over the weekend of September 4–7, 2026, and conclude between May 28–31, 2027, in line with the approved national football calendar.
Matches will continue to be played mainly on weekends, maintaining the established format, while midweek fixtures will be reserved strictly for outstanding games.
The GFA says it remains committed to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the competition throughout the season.
The early release of the calendar, according to the Association, is intended to help clubs, officials, and other stakeholders plan effectively ahead of the new campaign.
