Actress and entrepreneur Fella Makafui has responded to claims by actor Drogba that she failed to personally check on him during his recent health challenges.
Reacting in the comment section of an interview shared on TikTok by blogger “The Village Blogger,” Fella expressed surprise at Drogba’s remarks and suggested the interview may not be recent.
“I hope this video is not new because that will be surprising. We’ve been communicating lately for anyone asking,” she wrote.
Her response follows comments made by Drogba in an interview with Sammy Kay Media, which aired on May 29, 2026. In the interview, the actor alleged that Fella did not directly reach out to him after news of his illness became public.
According to Drogba, Fella initially contacted actor Jeffrey Nortey to inquire about his condition rather than reaching out to him directly, despite having his contact.
“Fella Makafui hasn’t reached out. When the thing came, she reached out to Jeffrey Nortey. She has my number, so I was surprised. Later, she reached out to me with a different number and asked me when I was free. I told her, and since then, I haven’t heard from her,” he stated.
Drogba also revealed that he reached out to several colleagues in the movie industry, including Salma Mumin and John Dumelo, but said he had yet to receive assistance from them.
The exchange has sparked discussion on social media, particularly among fans of the former YOLO stars, whose on-screen chemistry made them one of the show’s most popular pairings.
