A former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary hopeful in Asante Akyem Central, Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, has declared his plan to initiate a door-to-door campaign in support of the party’s Presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Nkansah revealed this intention during his ‘thank you’ tour following his unsuccessful bid in the NPP Parliamentary Primaries.
Despite his loss to the incumbent MP, Kwame Anyimadu Antwi, Nkansah, who serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme, remains determined to contribute to the party’s success in the upcoming general election.
Expressing his commitment, Nkansah pledged to lead a grassroots campaign to bolster Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s presidential aspirations for the 2024 elections.
His decision comes after gathering considerable support from residents of Asante Akyem Central, who had backed his challenge against the 16-year tenure of MP Kwame Anyimadu Antwi during the NPP Parliamentary Primaries.
