Ghana Premier League side Eleven Wonders FC have been handed an indefinite transfer ban after failing to settle outstanding payments owed to former player Moses Afriyie, despite repeated directives from the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The sanction, which takes effect immediately, applies to both domestic and international transfers and will remain in force until the club has cleared the full amount due.
The ruling follows Eleven Wonders’ continued non-compliance with decisions issued by the GFA Players’ Status Committee, as well as a subsequent enforcement order from the Disciplinary Committee.
Afriyie had earlier lodged a complaint with the GFA, accusing the club of ignoring its financial obligations even after being formally notified and granted ample time to pay.
In response, the Disciplinary Committee initially imposed a fine and granted the club an additional window to settle the debt, cautioning that failure to do so would result in tougher sanctions under Article 15 of the GFA Disciplinary Code.
With the deadline now missed, the Committee has enforced Article 15(2), triggering the transfer ban until all outstanding payments are made.
The development represents a major setback for Eleven Wonders, leaving the club unable to reinforce its squad while the dispute remains unresolved.
