The Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) has announced a major revision to its examination structure, introducing a new Supplementary II Computer-Based Examination (CBE) from July 2026.

The Council says the new examination window forms part of efforts to expand access to licensure opportunities while maintaining professional standards in the allied health sector.

Under the new arrangement, the Supplementary II examination will now be organised twice a year, providing additional opportunities for candidates who are unsuccessful in the first supplementary examination.

According to the AHPC, the examination is also open to eligible candidates who are not required to undertake internship, including certificate graduates and other trained allied health professionals seeking certification and professional recognition.

The maiden edition of the Supplementary II Computer-Based Examination is scheduled for July 2026 and will be conducted at selected examination centres across the country.

The Council has advised all prospective candidates to monitor its official communication platforms for details on registration timelines, approved centres, examination guidelines and other key updates.

It further urged candidates to ensure they meet all requirements and adequately prepare ahead of the examination period.
