The Chief Executive Officer Youth Employment Agency (YEA) is urging the public especially members of the opposition political parties not to accuse government of witch-hunting their members when they begin prosecuting people who have defrauded the state.

Justine Kodua Frimpong revealed that a lot of people will be prosecuted for engaging in fraudulent payments under the erstwhile Mahama-led administration.

The YEA Boss revealed this on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Wednesday after Agency deleted the names of 16,839 from its 63,000 beneficiaries payroll after an audit found their employment to have been tainted with fraud.

He also disclosed that the shed human resource weight has saved the more than 20 million cedis.

Those found culpable, Mr. Kodua Frimpong noted will face the full rigorous of the law.

Already, he indicated that, Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) is currently investigating supposedly fraudulent payments at the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) to beneficiaries in 216 districts.

The YEA Boss added that BNI is preparing to prosecute those found culpable in this report.

Mr. Kodua Frimpong urged individuals, political parties and group not to throng to his office to beg for clemency if their members are found culpable.
