Founder of the Life International Church, Bishop Gordon Kisseh disagrees with the assertion that churches could be blamed for recent suicide cases recorded across the country.

“Churches are doing their best physically and spiritually for members and can’t be linked to these suicide cases in any way,” he said.

Bishop Gordon Kisseh’s comment comes in the wake of assertion by some Ghanaians that churches over the years have failed to provide support for members who are in dire need of help.

He disclosed this to Adom News after a consecration, ordination and commissioning service at their church at Achimota where his wife has now become an Apostle.

However, some Ghanaians believe that those who do not get the needed help after being in the church have no option than to end their lives.

Meanwhile, Rev. Mrs. Esther Kisseh who has been made an Apostle said as means of keeping members away from such evil thoughts engage members who are unemployed and idle.

According to her, virtually every woman in their church has been taught a skill or two which serves as source of livelihood as worshipping God is not only about spiritual wellbeing.

She has also urged women to push further in life and in the body of Christ as men seem to dominate in every field.
