Kumasi-based vigilante group, Delta Force has denied claims that one of the suspects in the kidnapping of the two Canadian girls, Seidu Mba, is a member of the group.

The arrest of master Mba has gone viral on social media with his images as a member of the Delta Force.

Master Mba is alleged to be part of the Delta Force team that forcibly freed their colleagues standing trial for Assault against Public Officer at the Kumasi Circuit Court sometime in 2017.

But, Ashanti regional chairman for the group, Francis Asante, reacting to the matter, said the said culprit (Seidu), has never been a member of their group and he’s not part of them.

“Seidu is not a member of our group and can never be a member,” he stated on Accra based Neat FM, monitored by Adomonline.com.

The Delta Force chairman accused the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) of masterminding the false reports.

He said the NDC is bent on linking the suspect to the group so they could link him to the NPP because Delta Force is affiliated to the ruling party.
