Minister of Health, Kwaku Agyemang-Manu, has disclosed that out of the 287 coronavirus cases recorded in Ghana, the Greater Accra region has the most cases.

Speaking at a press briefing Tuesday, at the Ministry of Health, the Minister said Greater Accra region alone is leading in number of 256 cases.

“The regional distribution of the cases are as follows: Greater Accra Region has most cases (256) followed by the Ashanti Region (18), Northern Region (10), Upper West Region (1), Eastern Region (1) and Upper East Region (1),” he said.

Ghana’s coronavirus case count has risen sharply to 287, an update by Ghana Health Service late Monday, April 6, 2020 has revealed.

A total of 172 cases, according to the Ghana Health Service, were reported from the routine and enhanced surveillance activities and those from travellers under mandatory quarantine in both Accra and Tamale are 115.
