The wife of a 31-year-old man allegedly killed over GH¢20 at Asuboa in the Asante Akyem South Municipality is demanding justice for her husband.
Frimpomaa Rose says she has been left devastated following the death of her husband, Eric Anane, who was reportedly killed by a friend after a disagreement over money.
According to reports, the incident occurred after the deceased allegedly failed to fulfil a promise to give the suspect GH¢20, leading to a misunderstanding that escalated into violence.
The suspect, identified only as Richmond, is currently on the run.
Speaking to Adom News, Frimpomaa Rose, a sachet water seller at Dampong, appealed to authorities to ensure the suspect is arrested and brought to justice. She is now left to care for their four children alone.
Meanwhile, the Unit Committee Chairman for the Asuboa Electoral Area, Kofi Yeboah, confirmed that police have launched investigations into the incident.
He assured that efforts are underway to track down the suspect and bring him to justice.
