New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly called Chairman Wontumi, has questioned the loyalty of journalist Kwesi Pratt to his party, the Convention People’s Party (CPP).
The NPP politician had sought to know in an interview with Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem if was still with CPP or he has now been transferred to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Mr Wontumi’s question follows the decision of Mr Pratt to join forces with other political parties, especially the NDC to protest the planned compilation of a new voters register by Ghana’s Electoral Commission (EC).
But that decision to join the NDC’s protest by Mr Pratt hasn’t gone done well by Mr Wontumi who has accused Mr Pratt was gradually shifting away from his party’s position to support that of the NDC.
“If he were in the NPP, I would move for him to be suspended because he can’t go against his party, especially when the CPP does not agree with NDC’s stance on the voters register.
