Accolades continue to pour in for Ghanaian musician Black Sherif as he secures a nomination for the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards.

This is his second consecutive nomination, cementing his status as a rising global star.

Black Sherif has been nominated in the highly competitive category of Best International Flow.

In this category, Black Sherif faces formidable competition from international artists, including Central Cee from the UK, Gazo from France, J Hus, also from the UK, South Africa’s K.O, Major RD from Brazil, and Ninho from France.

The late South African rapper AKA, Sampa The Great from Zambia, and Brazil’s Tasha & Tracie are also nominated.

Black Sherif is the sole Ghanaian artist nominated for a BET Hip Hop Award this year.

In 2022, Black Sherif received a nomination in the same category but narrowly missed the award to Benjamin Epps from France.

However, his recognition on the international stage reflects his growing influence in the music industry.
