Black Queens Coach, Didi Dramani has lauded the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for their undying support ahead of the 2018 African Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON).

The committee headed by Honourable Freda Prempeh, the Member of Parliament for Tano North constituency visited and motivated the team ahead of respective competition set to be staged in Ghana.

The 51-year-old and his side were very appreciative of their visit and said, “I am glad a woman is championing this campaign and she is none other than the Chairperson of the recently constituted Local Organizing Committee…” he told Asempa Sports.

He continued that, “It’s been long since we heard a woman come out strongly like she has done, and I believe that the hard work we are putting in will pay off…”

Didi Dramani further urged the team to put in their best to cop the cup and avoid all forms of complacency as the host nation.

“The fact that Ghana is hosting does not guarantee that Ghana will win, a lot of work must be done and we are up to the task…”he ascertained.

Dramani, before his new role was a stop–gap coach for the Black Princesses and led them to qualification for last year’s U-20 Women’s tournament in Papua New Guinea.
