The Black Maidens of Ghana have arrived safely in Djibouti ahead of their last round of World Cup qualifier tomorrow after their flight was delayed in Ethiopia where they did a transit.
Coach Augustine Evans Adotey after making four major changes to the side that played against Gambia had their first training session in the early hours of today and will hold the team’s official training session at 1pm which will be followed by a pre-match at 2pm.
The black maidens beat Gambia 7-2 on aggregate in the second round last year and would seek to get the best result in Djibouti tomorrow at the El Hadj Hassan Gouled Aptidon national stadium at 1pm local time.
Goal keeper Cynthia Fiindip, Mumuni Fuseini, Yaa Agyeiwaa and Susan Ama Duah will all seek to line up for the first time for Ghana against Djibouti.
Ghana has qualified for every FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup finals since its inception in 2008.
