Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, says he suspects the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has become manufacturers of rumours.

This is because of NDC’s allegations that the government is secretly enlisting party members into the nation’s security services.

To Mr Baako, anybody who alleges must prove and that the NDC made serious allegations without any evidential value.

“I suspect the NDC is mastering in manufacturing of rumours because they had no evidential value to back their allegations.  This allegation is an invitation for us to interrogate suspicions and rumours as well as conjecture and flight of imaginations,” he said.

Speaking on Accra-based Metro TV, monitored by Adomonline.com, Mr Baako said the NDC should have adequately prepared before addressing the press conference.

“I am not saying it is wrong for them to address a press conference but they should have prepared well or used a more responsive approach by asking questions in parliament or deliberate on the issue at the committee level,” he said.
