National Communication Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Sammy Gyamfi was pushed to a tight corner when he was asked whether he will accept any position should former President John Mahama win the 2020 general election.

The anti-nepotism crusader answered in the affirmative when he was asked by host of Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme whether he will accept any position in Mr Mahama’s government.

But, when the show host, Osei Bonsu pointed out how accepting that position given his close association with John Mahama will amount to nepotism, he quickly changed his mind.

“For your information, if former President Mahama comes to power, I might not accept any post; I don’t want any post,” he said.

Mr Gyamfi added that, focusing on such tangential issues amount to trivialising the issues they have raised about the family and friends government under President Nana Akufo-Addo.
