The Managing Director of Citadel Hospital at Alajo in the Greater Accra Region has been arrested after a joint police and military team uncovered guns and bombs in the health facility.
Information gathered by Adom News suggested that the doctor was arrested together with a blacksmith who is believed to be his accomplice.

Speaking in an interview on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem show, the Assemblyman for Alajo Electoral Area, Hudu Ishmeal disclosed the residents are now leaving in fear following the discovery of the explosives.
“The news came to Alajo residents as a shock because the doctor of the facility is a very calm man with a very decent and serene atmosphere.

“He doesn’t have a lot of friends in the area, so you see people moving in and out of his house though he has rented a house at Alajo,” he said.
“We couldn’t believe it when we saw the team handcuff the doctor and brought the explosives out of the facility after the raid,” he added.

Meanwhile, the two are currently in the custody of the Bureau of National Investigations with investigations ongoing to apprehend other accomplices.
