GAILIC Leadership Network is set to launch the maiden edition of its Women’s Leadership Summit, dubbed the Obaasima Summit, as part of efforts to empower women and nurture transformational leadership among young people.
The initiative forms part of the network’s broader vision of raising a generation of purposeful, responsible and impact-driven leaders, especially among the youth and women.
According to the Founder and Convener of the network, Abigail Afful Cobbinah, the summit will create a platform for women from diverse backgrounds to connect, learn, grow and build confidence in leadership and personal development.
She explained that the summit is designed to inspire women to step boldly into leadership roles while equipping them with the skills, mindset and opportunities needed to influence positive change in society.
GAILIC Leadership Network believes leadership goes beyond titles and focuses on service, influence, growth and impact.
The organisation has over the years focused on mentorship, leadership training, conferences, community engagement projects and strategic collaborations aimed at developing young leaders across different sectors.
Beyond the summit, the network also intends to use digital and media platforms to promote leadership conversations, youth empowerment and positive social impact initiatives.
The organisers say the Obaasima Summit is expected to bring together young professionals, entrepreneurs, students, mentors, industry players and aspiring female leaders for discussions centered on leadership, empowerment, innovation and personal growth.
GAILIC Leadership Network says it remains committed to building a lasting legacy of leadership, service and impact for future generations.
