Father of one of the missing Takoradi girls has reportedly relocated to his village to avoid pressure to give his DNA sample to the police.
Spokesperson for the three families, Michael Grant Hayford, revealed this on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem programme, Thursday.
He said Mr Koranchie has said until an independent body carries out the DNA analysis, he will not cooperate because the police have not been candid throughout the investigations.

“If the Criminal Investigations Department comes to Takoradi today, they won’t see him because he has moved to his village just to avoid any test,” he added.
This comes after the Daily Graphic newspaper reported that forensic scientists would be in Takoradi in the Western region on Thursday August 8, 2019 to take the required samples for the DNA test.
There is, however, good news as the family of 21-year-old Priscilla Blessing Bentum has agreed to the DNA test.

“The two other families [families of Ruth Love Quayson and Priscilla Mantebea Koranchie] are still considering whether to cooperate with the police and give samples for the DNA test or not,” Mr Hayford said.
He appealed to the police to, for once, listen to the concerns of the family for an amicable solution to the matter.

Little Bentum was reported missing on August 17, 2018. Later, Ruth Love Quayson, 18 years, was also reported missing on December 4, 2018.
Then on December 21, Priscilla Mantebea Koranchie, also 18 years, was reported missing.
Prime suspect, Samuel Udoetuk-Willis has admitted in court that he conspired with one John Oji, 29, to kidnap the three girls.
