Founder and Leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Percival Kofi Akpaloo, has named a female as his running mate for the 2020 general election.

According to him, he settled on Mrs Margaret Obrain Sarfo because he believes with the in-depth knowledge of the woman, she is the right person to help him solve the country’s problems if he becomes the President of Ghana.

“I have already chosen a female to be my running mate for the 2020 elections. Though we didn’t hold any congress, it is official and Mrs Margaret Obrain Sarfo has been accepted by the party,” he told Accra based Neat FM, monitored by Adomonline.com.

To him, the two major political parties have nothing new to offer Ghanaians and that he is the right person to deliver Ghanaians from what he described as misery.

The Chartered Accountant said if elected as President, he will prefer mobilising cash from within Ghana to invest in capital projects than borrow from abroad.

Mr Akpaloo also revealed that he will not only legalise marijuana otherwise known as wee as President, but he will ensure that it becomes the cash cow of the country to develop major areas in the country.
