Kumasi Asante Kotoko have fired their head coach, C.K. Akonnor weeks after leading them to secure CAF Champions League qualification.
The former Black Stars captain is reported to have told Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM: ”Yes it’s true I am no more the coach of Kotoko. I have been asked to step aside but to take over as technical director, I can’t comment.”
