The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has confirmed a technical issue disrupting the purchase of electricity credits for customers using MMS-compliant meters.
In a notice released on Sunday, December 28, the power distributor explained that the challenge is affecting credit purchases made through the ECG Mobile App, the designated short code, and selected third-party vendors.
ECG assured customers that its technical team is actively working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible and restore full service.

The company apologised to customers for the inconvenience caused and thanked the public for their patience as efforts continue to address the issue.
