Coventry City striker Brandon Thomas-Asante has set his sights on winning trophies with the Black Stars while making a meaningful impact on the team.

The 25-year-old forward, who made his international debut for Ghana in October 2024, has featured in seven matches and scored once for the West African side.

Despite his strong performances for Coventry City, Thomas-Asante is yet to secure a regular spot in the national team.

Speaking to the PFA, he expressed his determination to contribute beyond just being part of the squad. “For me, I want to be successful with the Black Stars. I don’t just want to be a squad player; I want to contribute goals, assists, and help this nation win trophies. We know the expectations are high, and we’re ready to meet them,” he said.

Thomas-Asante has been in impressive form for Coventry this season, scoring 10 goals and providing three assists in 17 appearances.

With the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico on the horizon, the forward hopes to earn a spot in Ghana’s squad and play a key role on football’s biggest stage.
