Afro-dancehall star Stonebwoy has broken his silence on the much-talked-about seizure of Shatta Wale’s Lamborghini Urus by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).
Speaking in an interview during his stay in Jamaica, the BHIM Nation president was asked directly whether he had “snitched” on his long-time industry rival, leading to the luxury car’s confiscation.
Stonebwoy laughed off the allegation but hinted that he knew far more about the situation than the public.
“When you follow the news properly, me and some man will know the truth before the truth comes out. From where I stand, you can’t two-talk, you know. I’m an insider; I know a whole heap of things you can’t know,” he said.
Without naming names, Stonebwoy pointed to a culture in the entertainment industry where not everything that glitters is gold.
He noted that many feel pressured to flash it for the cameras, even when they cannot truly afford it.
“It’s just hype. Many people want to really flash it. But believe me, not everybody can have it. Some of the things I know, if others knew too, they wouldn’t sleep,” he remarked.
The Go Higher hitmaker also made it clear he is not one to bring another man down.
“I don’t try to cross people. I pray your thing goes well for you, and my thing goes well for me. But you find the opposite in a lot of people,” he said.
While he stopped short of directly confirming or denying any role in the saga, Stonebwoy’s cryptic comments have set social media buzzing.
