Tottenham make enquire about Ghana and Bournemouth striker Antoine Semenyo

Tottenham Hotspur have shown interest in Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo, making an initial enquiry about the Ghana international.

However, the North London club are not currently pushing ahead with a transfer.

Semenyo is reportedly open to a move to Spurs, but Bournemouth’s £70 million valuation of the 25-year-old has cooled interest from Tottenham and other potential suitors, including Manchester United.

The in-form winger has become a key player under Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola, netting 21 goals over the past two seasons. He enjoyed an impressive 2024/25 campaign, scoring 13 times in 42 appearances across all competitions.

New Spurs head coach Thomas Frank is keen to bolster his attacking options ahead of the new season, despite recently completing the permanent signing of Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich following a successful loan spell.

Tottenham are also keeping tabs on Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo, who is also attracting interest from Manchester United.

Semenyo joined Bournemouth from Bristol City in January 2023 and signed a new five-year contract with the Cherries in July 2024. Before making the move to the Premier League, he made 125 senior appearances for Bristol City and had loan stints at Bath City, Newport County, and Sunderland.
