Former Member of Parliament for Anyaa-Sowutuom, Dr. Dickson Adomako Kissi, has endorsed Dr. Bryan Acheampong as a strong contender for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer slot.
He described Dr. Acheampong as a practical and visionary leader with the capacity to transform Ghana’s fortunes.
Speaking in an interview on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem, Dr. Kissi highlighted Acheampong’s strong academic background and leadership experience as key strengths.
“He has extensive knowledge—holding four master’s degrees, a PhD, and a doctorate. His strong vision is essential for addressing the current challenges our country faces,” he said.
“Bryan Acheampong is very practical, and his humanistic values are solid. He cares about party unity and youth employment. His broad vision and decision-making ability can carry the NPP not just to victory in 2028, but sustain it beyond,” he added.
Dr. Kissi also pointed to Acheampong’s track record in both the public and private sectors as evidence of his readiness to lead.
“What he’s done in banking, agriculture, and national security—if brought into governance—will result in double transformation,” he stated.
Although Dr. Acheampong has not yet officially declared his candidacy, Dr. Kissi hinted that an announcement could be made soon.
His endorsement comes ahead of the NPP’s presidential primaries scheduled for January 31, 2026.
