Founder of Ghana Union Movement, Reverend Christian Kwabena Andrews, says his party has been given the green light by the Electoral Commission (EC) to contest the 2020 general election and is set to beat the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC) in 2020.

According to him, the movement is serious about its decision to contest the 2020 presidential race and had made available to the EC, all the relevant documentations to guarantee its certification.

He said unlike other political parties, which he described as loyal to their members and not the State, the main agenda of the movement is to implement policies that would directly affect and transform lives.

“These political parties have failed us especially the youth. Many youth have nothing to boast about and have been left by these leaders who voted for them. No productivity in the country. These leaders only think about themselves and not the youth.

“That is why my movement is here to rescue these youth and I am very happy the EC has confirmed my party to contest the 2020 general election,” he told Accra based Neat FM, monitored by Adomonline.com.

The party, according to Osofo Kyiri Abosom, who is also the Founder and General Overseer of the Life Assembly Worship Centre in Accra, though new in Ghana’s political front has received massive endorsement across the length and breadth of the country.

The new party, Ghana Union Movement, has ‘Arise for Development’ as its slogan.
