Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta has said the NPP government seeks to create a conducive environment for the private sector in favour of the youth.
Delivering the 2018 budget in Parliament, Mr Ken Ofori Atta indicated that one of the key targets of the expenditure fund is to stabilize the economy for resilient growth.
He indicated it will bring forth the opportunity to produce a competitive environment for internal growth with regards to the private sector.
While the Minority has predicted gloom against the 2018 budget, the Finance Minister believes it will create immense entrepreneurial opportunities for the youth across the country.
“The 2018 to 2021 budget is informed by the coordinate programs which aim at creating a conducive environment for the private sector to thrive to create employment for the youth…” Mr Ofori Atta said.
He maintained that, “The government aims to stabilize the economy for resilient growth and enhancing a competitive environment for internal growth and creating entrepreneurial opportunities for the youth…”
