President of New Edubiase United Abdul Salam Yakubu has descended heavily on officials of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), calling them a bunch of “cowards”.
Salam Yakubu who offered his backing to George Afriyie to succeed Kwesi Nyantakyi as the Ghana Football Association president, however emphasized that, “All the people at the GFA are cowards, anytime they meet you outside they talk about how poorly Ghana football is being managed but they are unable to speak up”, he told Kwadwo Mensah Moshoosho on Agro ne fom.
‘George Afriyie,Kurt Okraku ,name them they are all cowards”.
“Until Kwesi Nyantakyi announced he was not going to contest for GFA president in 2019,no one was able to declare that he was going to face him”.
“Even if Ghana football is being managed well ,we still have to get people who are well able to challenge him”.
“As I speak to you now, if Kwesi decides to contest again, he will go unopposed because they are a bunch of cowards”, he added.
