Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson says she may become the first-ever female Ghanaian president to be sworn into power.
The actress who gained political recognition for her advocacy in the days of Ghana electricity crises said she was currently reading International Relations in a tertiary institution to guide her career path.
“I would love to work with some of these human rights organisations. I love to be upstanding and speaking on behalf of people,” Yvonne said on Class FM.
When asked if she will consider going into politics full time, to the extent of contesting for the presidential seat, she replied: “I may be the first-ever female president and you never know.”
Yvonne, however, said she was taking it slow because she is uncertain about the decision [to go into politics].
“I don’t know so I am just letting God guide me. You might never know,” she said.
