Wutah Kobby has advised current crop of musicians making headlines to consider themselves as emerging acts if they want to survive long in Ghana’s music industry.
According to him, feeling pompous, proud and thinking “you are already at the top of your career” would easily bring your downfall.
He commended highlife acts Kuami Eugene, Kidi and singer Quamina MP for their hard work.
“They are doing marvelously well and they shouldn’t let it get to their heads because that will be your end. There’s always pride before a fall…” he told host Jay Foley.
When asked if pride dissolved his Wutah music group, he said no and that he was brought up in a good home.
