Twitter boiled on Thursday afternoon when dancehall act, Samini, decided to break the peace to take on John Dumelo over his alleged attempts to conceal the identity of a state-owned V8 vehicle some two years ago.

The media was awash with stories of the actor being chased by Ghana’s National Security outfit for him to return the vehicle he allegedly had in his possession after the 2016 general elections.

Even though the matter died after some weeks, Samini decided to resurrect the matter by asking him to open up on the matter on social media.

Many were those shocked as to why Samini would engage Mr Dumelo on the issue in the open but Samini has disclosed why he was left with no alternative than to do so.

I’m here for Ghana’s interest and I’m asking my brother who boldly represents a known political party to clear the air about a rumour about him concerning state property #DropThatChamber @johndumelo1 sup,” Samini tweeted.

When Twitter fans asked Samini to be mindful of how he was holding John Dumelo accountable, he replied: “when you call for accountability and you are ignored, it doesn’t make the silent ones right, my friend. Sometimes people are shy oo so they’d rather not…”
