Aspiring assemblyman for the Adukrom Nima Electoral Area in the Ashanti region, Hon. Aponkye says he is in a comfortable lead.

Nana Adabor Ibrahim Isaah Ampim said results he has collated so far show he has won 11 out of the 15 polling stations in the area.
However, reports indicate that, he might be laughing out of the wrong side of his mouth since he won in just two of the 15 polling stations.

But, an over confident Hon Aponkye on Adom News said, results he has received from his agents show he is leading in 11 polling stations.
He is, therefore, waiting for the Electoral Commission (EC) to collate all the results and declare him winner.

Hon Aponkye stated unequivocally that any attempt by EC officials to change the results will be resisted.
“I’m a politician and I know all these tricks so I’m jubilating to ensure they don’t change the results,” he added.
