Poor drainage system at Japan Motors, a suburb between Adentan and Ashaley Botwe in the Adentan Constituency has led to the destruction of roads and gradually collapsing their main bridge.

According to the residents, heavy downpour floods another drainage system which runs through Adentan to Nanakrom posing a death trap.
Speaking in an interview with Adomonline.com, a resident narrated how she almost got drowned with her kids at the bridge after the rains.

Another resident, identified as Kwame Danso, said people always drown after heavy downpour.

The residents are, thus, appealing to the government to construct the bridge which is posing a major challenge to residents in the area.
