“One Corner” act, Patapaa Amisty caused a buzz on social media after he paused to pick up monies thrown at him on stage during his performance at the just-ended 2018 Ghana Music Awards in the UK.
Patapaa was rated one of the best performers on the night as he got everyone out of their comfort zones to jam to his songs.
His performances were spot on, especially when he signalled the DJ to drop the “Akwaaba” song.

The Swedru-based musician’s “One Corner” song won the most popular song of the year category.
His performance, however, hit the climax when he surprisingly paused in the midst of the buzz of his performance to pick up cash notes that being sprayed on him by one of his fans.
In a video making rounds on social media, Patapaa was seen stacking the notes into his back pocket.
The show ended on a good note as Patapaa also got the opportunity to perform with veteran highlife musician, Nana Ampadu.
