A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s communication team has urged former President John Dramani Mahama to stop using backdoor in his attempt to become the first gentleman of the land again.

The NPP Communicator, Yaw Preko, says the party is not responsible for the suspension of a headmaster in the Upper East Region in whose school a member of the opposition NDC is said to have incited students.

He was responding to statements purportedly made by the former president that the suspension of the headmaster was wrong and an indication of how intolerant the NPP government was.

He said Mr Mahama and Joshua Akamba should blame themselves for putting the innocent headmaster into trouble than accuse NPP.

The NPP communicator speaking to Adom News charged the ex-president to desist from polluting the minds of innocent students.

He called on Mr Mahama to come up with policies that will be convincing enough to win him power.

The Ghana Education Service suspended the headmaster last Saturday after a video went viral of an aspiring National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress Joshua Akamba, allegedly inciting some students of the Tempane SHS against President Akufo-Addo over the challenges facing the implementation of the free Senior High School programme.
