Up and coming artiste, KelvynBoy, has opened up on how dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy recruited him into his camp.
In an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, the “Hustle” hitmaker disclosed that Stonebwoy’s heart melted when he saw him perform one of his songs at an event.
He further told Andy Dosty that he felt like his destiny was linked to that of Stonebwoy’s because just after the performance, Stonebwoy asked him to pay a visit so they collaborate on a song.

“I was performing and Stonebwoy was backstage getting ready. I was performing his song. I had no idea he was there so he came out and we performed together…” he said.
The sensational singer, who claims to be the protégé of Stonebwoy, rubbished the assertions that he was trying to be like stonebwoy.

According to him, even though Stonebwoy paved the way for him, he can be no one than himself.
Asked if he sees anyone as a competition, KelvynBoy insisted he fears nobody in the entertainment industry.
“I don’t think I will choose Michael Jackson over me. There are bosses and i respect them but I will not choose anyone over me unless I am dead. I am not afraid of any artiste. Never!” he exclaimed.

He, however, maintained that he is grateful to Stonebwoy for blessing his career.
“Any big artiste in Ghana needs to have an influence. I have learn a lot from Stonebwoy. I have picked a lot from him. He is original and performs with live band and that is my vibe so we don’t have issues…” he said to Andy.
