Ghanaian gospel musician Bernice Offei has died at the age of 63.

Citi News reported that the respected singer passed away on Saturday morning, 12 September 2026.

The cause of her death is, however, not immediately known.

Her death comes only days after she was reported missing in Accra, prompting an urgent appeal from family, friends, and members of the gospel music community for information about her whereabouts.

She was later located and reported to be safe at the time.

Bernice Offei was a long-standing figure in Ghana’s gospel music scene, known for songs such as Hold On and Life Is So Short.
