Women leaders, entrepreneurs and changemakers have gathered in Accra for the 2026 She Builds Conference, with a call for women to pursue success while prioritising their wellbeing and purpose.
The one-day conference is organised by The Academic Woman Foundation and brings together women from different fields to share experiences, build meaningful connections and inspire one another.
The Founder and CEO of The Academic Woman, Dr. Anatu K. Mahama, says the conference is designed to create a supportive space where women can grow, lead and make a lasting impact
Guest speaker Dedo Kofi also focused on the importance of women’s mental and emotional wellbeing.
She encouraged women to be content with what they have and cautioned against comparing their lives with what they see on social media.
