Exercising and eating healthy foods are certainly two important ways to maintain your bones health.

Apart from this, sesame oil can even turn out to be a miraculous Ayurvedic remedy to strengthen your bone. Ayurveda, the traditional Indian system of medicine recommends sesame oil to treat numerous health-related issues including constipation and weak bones.

The link between sesame seeds and bones health
Sesame seeds are loaded with copper, magnesium, calcium, healthy omega-3 fats and have high protein content, which can be beneficial for people suffering from bone-related issues.
30 grams of unhulled sesame seeds contain 22 per cent of the Recommended Dietary Intake (RDI) of calcium. A handful of sesame seeds can also provide you recommended level of antioxidants, minerals, vitamins and protein.

How to use sesame seeds
Ayurveda recommends using sesame seeds in multiple ways to reap its amazing health benefits. You can eat the seeds and can massage with the oil. Both are good for health. Sesame oil can penetrate to all seven layers of the skin and can show amazing results.

In summers, you can soak one teaspoon of white sesame seeds in a glass of water and leave it overnight. Strain the seeds using a strainer and drink the concoction in the morning.

You can also sprinkle some sesame seeds on top of your salad or have it directly in winters.

As per Ayurveda, massaging with sesame seed oil is also beneficial for your bone. Take some warm sesame oil and apply it on your body. Massage gently for at least 15 minutes, allowing the oil to soak into the skin. Take a bath after 10 minutes. Practise this for a month for effective results.
