Dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale said he is the richest musician in Ghana.
The controversial musician believes he is at the top of the list due to his hard work in the music industry.
Shatta Wale on several platforms is known to flaunt his super cars to emphasize his amassed wealth ever since he ventured into music.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, the ‘Ayoo’ hitmaker who also boasts of his one million dollar mansion in East Legon asserted that ‘God has blessed me so much that, I see myself to be the richest among every other colleague that is in my state right now’.
According to him, growing up his dad mentored him to be a businessman hence creating and producing songs isn’t the only source of his wealth.
In spite of this, he has urged the ‘broke’ musicians to forgo ego and heed to his words because ‘“People have tried to do it and it didn’t work so if [he] Shatta Wale has got a new strategy and a plan people should just come together [so] they can grow this thing up,”
“Ghanaian artiste are hungry, too much begging. They rent cars. When we stand we will live that real life. The 2 Face and Wizkids will want to feature us. Let’s brand ourselves and make Ghana a proud nation…” he urged.
Shatta urged the industry players to support one another and relinquish the ‘pull him down’ syndrome.
Asked how much he is worth, the controversial musician said ‘I am not ready to tell anyone my wealth. Go around and count. Have you ever bought 18 cars for your friends?’ He queried.
