Nigerian actress and social media influencer Nimota Adesanya, popularly known as Nimmy Ferrari, has reportedly passed on.
The actress’ death was announced by some of her colleagues on social media, with fellow actress Kemisola Kemity Apesin among those who paid tribute to her on Instagram.
Reports circulating online claim Nimmy died from complications following an alleged surgery for fibroids.
The news has been particularly painful for those who knew the actress because she was reportedly preparing to celebrate a major personal achievement before her death.
Nimmy had recently completed a house in Sagamu, Ogun State, and was said to be making preparations for a housewarming ceremony to officially celebrate the new property.
Tributes from colleagues have described Nimmy as an actress who worked hard to establish herself and was beginning to gain more recognition in the Nigerian movie industry.
Meanwhile, Nimmy has been laid to rest, in accordance to Islamic rites, in the same newly completed house in Sagamu where she had reportedly planned to hold her housewarming ceremony.
