Firefighters from the Industrial Area Fire Station have prevented a domestic fire at Tabora Alhaji from spreading to eight adjoining rooms.
The incident occurred after a chamber and hall self-contained apartment caught fire, with the property reportedly fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived at the scene following a distress call.

The firefighting team quickly brought the blaze under control, stopping it from spreading to eight neighbouring chamber and hall rooms within the apartment block.
Although personal belongings and other contents in the affected apartment were completely destroyed, the swift intervention prevented further property losses.

No further damage was reported to the adjoining rooms.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
