British trainer, Steven Pollack after guiding Asante Kotoko to lift the 2017 MTN FA CUP trophy in Tamale on Sunday October 29,2017 said they deserved the trophy.

The former King Faisal trainer on the Ultimate sports show said his players put up a great display of talent, showed character and stood up to the occasion on the day.

“My players were much motivated, had the desire and the players had a great attitude and wanted it more than Hearts of oak. My players were better”, he stated.

“My players were just exceptional and gave the game their all. All we know is that we are champions on Ghana. I am extremely happy with our fans too”, Pollack noted.

Steven Pollack is the fifth coach to have managed Asante Kotoko this season and finished fifth with the side in the Ghana Premier League and now the MTN FA CUP.

Former Berekum manager, Steven Pollack has said he is considering staying on as head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko if management gives him the nod.
