The Former Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Emmanuel Kyeremanten Agyarko has been laid to rest at Odumasi Krobo in the Eastern Region.

Hundreds of mourners from all walks of life joined the black and red parade to pay their last respects to him.

President Akufo-Addo and the First Lady were among other dignitaries gathered to pay their last respect to the former legislator.

Sister of Former Ayawaso West Wuogon MP, Difie Agyarko Kusi says her brother in his usual optimistic self was hopeful he will survive when he was diagnosed with cancer.

She shared details of their last conversations in her tribute, at the burial service of the late MP, Emmanuel Agyarko at the Zimmerman Presbyterian Church at Odumase-Krobo.

There was thunderous applause when the widow, Josephine Naana Baiden-Agyarko revealed the charming and eloquent nature of Emmanuel Agyarko endeared him to the hearts of many women who wanted to be his wife.  She stated, although they have not lived together in the past few years, he remained a source of support and advice.

Mr. Agyarko passed away on November 21, 2018, in a US Hospital, from a prolonged illness.
