A bag containing guns, masks, gumboots, sweater, and other items suspected to be for robbery operations have been discovered in a bush behind the Assin Manso Zongo market.
The Assemblyman for the Assin Manso electoral area, Aboagye Dadzie, who confirmed the incident to Adom News said the items were discovered during communal labour by members of the community.

“We planned to nurse cocoa seedlings ahead of this year’s cocoa season for distribution to our farmers so we came across this when preparing the land for the nursery.”
He added the weapons have been handed over to the police for investigation.
