The Assin Fosu court presided over by His Worship Djane Quotey has sentenced 14-year-old Nana Kwasi into a borstal home to serve a year for stealing.

Checks by Adom News revealed the boy who is a school dropout stole a multi TV decoder valued at Ghc 250, a Nokia phone at GHc 200, a flash drive and an amount of GHc 120 which belongs to one Eric Korankye, a native of Assin Fosu.

According to police prosecutor, Inspector Gilbert Woyongo, the suspect committed the act together with three others identified as Kwasi Adu, Kwame Atta, Bright Atakora.

The trio broke into a container shop which belongs to Eric Korankye and made way with the items.

The suspect pleaded guilty to the crime with the said accomplices pleading not guilty.

They are however set to reappear in court on March 19, 2019.
