At the Adenta Kenkey junction, a car hit him and he died before he got to the hospital.

According to eyewitnesses, he was knocked by a private Ford Escape vehicle at about 7:30pm who claimed he didn’t see him when questioned and when he realized, the deceased was close to him so he hit him.

The highway has now become a death trap to pedestrians who now live in fear due to the consistent knockdowns on the road due to the absence of footbridges which leads to the instant death of victims and just a few lucky ones surviving.
