The National Service Scheme (NSS) has released postings of 6,676 nurses for the 2017/2018 service year to various health facilities in all 10 regions across the country.
In a statement issued by the Acting Executive Director of the National Service Scheme, Ussif Mustapha he urged all eligible nurses who registered for national service to go on the NSS website to check their placements and proceed to the various NSS regional secretariats to complete the registration processes.
It will be recalled that government recently cleared some un-posted nurses for posting this month following over 3 years of agitations and demonstrations by some nurses who have completed nursing school but are unemployed.
It is however unclear if this is the posting the nurses were asking for.
